Discover and try things out: We have invited you to experience research up close for a whole day.

At the Garching research campus, visitors were invited to experience science in lectures, hands-on activities, guided tours and much more. Whether young or old, there were numerous activities for every one on this day: students, staff and external guests. In addition to TUM, many other research institutions such as the Max Planck and Fraunhofer Institutes took part in the day of action.

All postdocs are cordially invited to the virtual TUM Postdoc Day 2025! The event is open to international and postdocs from Germany - both outside and inside our university.

Find out in our opening lecture what is important for a postdoc stay in Germany and then get to know the various funding and support offers at TUM. Whether you have questions about arriving in Munich, finding accommodation or expanding your skills, our experts will give you practical advice on how to make the most of your postdoc time at TUM. You will also receive information on funding opportunities for your future research career.
