How to Find Accommodation
It’s not easy to find a place to live in Munich – but it’s not impossible either! The Technical University of Munich (TUM) supports students and staff in their search for accommodation, providing personal advice, in-house listings and useful information to ensure that you can quickly find a place to call your own.
Beware of scam
Do not transfer money without signing the contract and having seen the apartment. Otherwise, you risk losing your money.
We do not recommend sending your ID documents before verifying the property to avoid identity theft.
Always make sure to sign the rental contract.
Please take this warning seriously. Unfortunately, despite this warning, students are being scammed every semester.
