“Lehr-Apéro”
The Lehr-Apéro (Teaching Apéro) is an open event format where the Vice Deans Academic and Student Affairs, Academic Program Directors and colleagues involved in teaching can exchange their ideas. The focus is on keynote speeches and discussions about current developments in teaching at TUM and beyond.
The event is regularly taking place in the Faculty Club of the Institute for Advanced Study at the Garching Campus.

The Lehr-Apéro on March 6, 2023 was dedicated to the question of the significance and consequences of AI programs such as ChatGPT for teaching and exams at universities.

February 2, 2023: Projects from the ideas competition
At the Lehr-Apéro on February 2, 2023, various projects were presented that were submitted as part of the ideas competition “Studienbezogene Verstärkung der Exzellenzstrategie” and that aim to advance the use of digital forms of teaching, learning, and testing at TUM as well as to develop innovative transdisciplinary teaching formats.
