To use energy from natural sources like sun, wind and water, it must be converted and stored. The Cluster of Excellence “e-conversion” explores the fundamentals of such processes. In the new podcast episode about the cluster, Sina Stegmaier, PhD graduate student in the field of chemistry, explains the problems of energy storage in batteries and which solutions researchers work on. She graduates at the Chair of Theoretical Chemistry at TUM, supervised by Prof. Karsten Reuter.
