Prof. Dr. Claudia Eckert
Claudia Eckert is Professor of IT Security at TUM and Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied and Integrated Security (AISEC). Her research focus areas include development of technologies for increasing system and application security, security of embedded systems and research on new technologies for making systems more resilient and more robust against attacks. Prof. Eckert belongs to a variety of national and international industry advisory boards and scientific bodies and advises companies, business associations and public authorities on IT security issues. As a member of Germany's expert committee for IT security, she has been one of six "Cyber Experts" (Cyberweisen) since 2019. Prof. Eckert has been recognized for her outstanding research in the field of Cyber Security and her contributions to Bavaria as a technology center.
Laura Dahlmeier
Laura Dahlmeier was Germany's most successful biathlete and was among the world's best in her sport before retiring from competition in May 2019. Born in Bavaria's Garmisch-Partenkirchen, she has among other things won seven Gold medals, three Silver medals and five Bronze medals in biathlon world championships. In addition to 20 victories in World Cup races, she also captured the Biathlon World Cup in the 2016/17 season. She won two Gold medals and one Bronze medal at the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. In recognition of her contributions, Bavarian Minister President Dr. Markus Söder awarded Laura Dahlmeier the Bavarian Order of Merit on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Since October 2019 Laura Dahlmeier has been a student of Sports Science at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) .
