Global Employability University Ranking 2014
TUM at the top of the table
Cambridge (GB), Harvard (US) and Yale (US) take the top three spots, followed by Oxford (GB), CalTech (US), MIT (US), Stanford (US), TUM (D), Princeton (US) and Tokyo (JP). Last year, TUM came in eleventh place in the ranking.
There are three more German schools in the top 50: University of Heidelberg (31st place), Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main (46th place) and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU, 50th place).
The Global Employability Ranking is created and published annually by Paris-based HR consultancy Emerging, in cooperation with trendence Institut GmbH in Berlin, a research institute specializing in employer branding, personnel marketing and recruiting.
“At TUM, we do an excellent job of combining top-level research and job-focused training in our courses – which is why places at our university are always in high demand,” says TUM President Prof. Herrmann on this year’s ranking achievement.
