If you use one of the color modes, the TUM website and its elements will be displayed in either dark or light.

The settings are stored on your computer and not transferred to the server.

Canteens and StuCafés:

Longer opening hours, shorter queues

More time to eat, read, work and exchange – thanks to the longer opening hours in several StuCafés and canteens of the Studentenwerk München.

Since the summer semester, the StuCafé Boltzmannstraße in Garching and the StuCafés Auditorium and Adalbertstraße in Munich City are open five hours a day longer during the week: Monday to Friday from 8 am until 7 pm.

On Saturdays, the StuCafés Auditorium and Adalbertstraße are also open from 9 am to 3 pm during the semester. As of October 6, the two large canteens in Garching and Arcisstraße have extended their service times by two hours. They are now open from Monday to Thursday from 11 am to 4 pm.

Help to keep waiting times down

For the Student Union and the cafeterias, the increasing number of TUM students is a major challenge. Of course, there will be queues – but the students can help to keep waiting times down themselves.
Please:

  • Check the menu-screens before queuing up
  • Make quick decisions at the serving counters
  • Have your canteen-card ready at the cash desks
  • Use all the available cash desks.
  • Pass through quickly – bon appetit!
