Golden Ring of Honor
The Golden Ring of Honor of the TUM is a prestigious award which is presented to persons who have far surpassed their duty in making outstanding contributions to research, teaching, the promotion of young scientists, or educational and university policy.
The ring is crafted by goldsmiths using 18-Karat gold, and it bears the logo of the university. The following persons have received the Golden Ring of Honor since it was first presented in 1997:
