The future of forests is the focus of the interdisciplinary SmartForest 2025 conference, which brings together leading experts from science, practice, politics and business to develop innovative solutions for climate-adapted forest conversion. The focus is on digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, innovative tools and modern analysis tools that are intended to transform forestry and make the forest of the future climate-ready.
Discuss and exchange ideas with other participants in lectures and workshops on the challenges of climate change and learn more about the latest digital solutions.
The conference is supported and funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) as part of the FutureForest research project, which is funded under the "AI Lighthouses for Environment, Climate, Nature and Resources" funding program.
