The Academicus Ideas Competition awards the best proposals from among the TUM family

Wanted: creative ideas for studying, teaching and campus life

A digital apartment exchange, outdoor lecture halls, or offers to promote mental health: For 20 years now, the Academicus Ideas Competition has been awarding prizes for ideas on how to further improve studying, teaching, and campus life at TUM. All members of the TUM family can participate: students, teachers, staff and alumni. They can submit their suggestions for the current round of the competition until July 31, 2022.

Shape your campus!

Under the motto “Shape your campus”, ideas are being sought on how studies and student life at our university can become even better and even more colorful. From special teaching formats to impulses for more accessibility on campus to sustainability initiatives – there are virtually no limits to creativity. You can submit your suggestion and help shape TUM at www.tum.de/ideascompetition.

After all, the best concepts will not only be awarded 500 euros, they will also be implemented in concrete projects on campus. A jury of experts from the various departments at TUM will evaluate the submissions and select the winners.

By the way: In the coming year, Academicus will pause, because that's when the next round of the TUM Future Learning Initiative will take place.
