Take part in workshops, exciting lectures on the reintroduction of endangered species, and field trips to observe plants, birds, and insects. Get out your camera and send in your photos for the "Biodiversity through the Lens" contest by April 21. The best photos will be displayed in the Central Auditorium Building during Biodiversity Week.
Research on nature conservation and biodiversity has been conducted at the Weihenstephan campus for decades. The aim of the Weihenstephan Green Office's Biodiversity Week is to raise awareness of these issues not only among fellow students and colleagues, but also among people without specialist knowledge, and to show that scientists, students, initiatives and organizations in Freising make a positive contribution to nature conservation.
