Branch libraries re-opened
Borrowing and returning books available again
In addition to its digital collections of 160,000 e-books, 45,000 e-journals and 2,400 databases, the University Library resumes its on-site services, including loan services, in the framework of an appropriate pandemic precaution. Upon prior reservation, TUM students have access to studying areas. Places are limited.
From 29 June, the University Library will extend its opening hours further: Branch libraries will open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the main campus, in Weihenstephan and at the mathematics & informatics branch library even until 10:00 p.m.
To protect the health of everyone, strict safety regulations must be observed. During the Corona Pandemic, special provisions apply if you wish to use the services of the library. The most important rules are:
- Admission to the branch libraries is only possible by prior appointment.
- Literature must be ordered in advance via the OPAC.
- Special terms of use apply during the Corona Pandemic.
Please inform yourself about current developments and all regulations in detail on the University Library’s website before you visit the library.
