Video review: 150 years of TUM

Our anniversary year on film

The Technical University of Munich has been shaping the future since 1868. Now, at the end of 2018, a cinematic retrospective offers the opportunity to take a look back on an anniversary year that was packed with events. At the same time, the university would like to thank everyone who contributed or participated. The film had its premiere at the Dies Academicus on December 6, 2018.

Numerous highlights made the past twelve months a special and unforgettable year: the ceremony in the Herkulessaal with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the inauguration of the Tschira-Forum in the newly renovated historic clock tower on Gabelsbergerstraße, the staff party on Campus Garching…

…the wreath-laying ceremony at the tomb of Karl-Max von Bauernfeind, the ground-breaking ceremony for the new building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Campus Garching, as well as the International Symposium on University, Society and Global Labor Market.
