Photo competition 2015:

Hot-air balloons over Myanmar

"Balloons over Bagan" is the first winner of this year's photo competition of the International Center. The photo shows hot-air balloons and a sunrise over Bagan/Myanmar. Chemistry-student Sebastian Weiß took the photo.

Weiß (25) is in his Master’s studies of Chemistry and visited the Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines) for half year with the program TUM Exchange. From a selection of more than 200 entries, a jury had pre-selected 28 photos.

The photos were taken by TUM-students during their exchange stays in countries such as Poland, Turkey, Russia, India, China, Japan or Southeast Asia. More than 5,000 people took part in an online-voting to determine the winners.
