At the Garching research campus, visitors were invited to experience science in lectures, hands-on activities, guided tours and much more. Whether young or old, there were numerous activities for every one on this day: students, staff and external guests. In addition to TUM, many other research institutions such as the Max Planck and Fraunhofer Institutes took part in the day of action.

Social Talk Event "Artificial intelligence"

  • Monday, 6/17/2024
  • 18:00

Event location
Munich

What should we think about before AI does it for us? The social talk in the rotunda of the Pinakothek der Moderne focuses on the topic of AI and its impacts.

Following a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Thomas F. Hofmann, President of the Technical University of Munich, people from different walks of life will express their hopes and fears regarding artificial intelligence and the challenges and opportunities it presents today. The scientific excellence of the university will respond to these questions and impulses. The evening will be moderated by Dr. Florian Langenscheidt (publisher, author, speaker).

We look forward to continuing the exchange over a drink under the chestnut trees.

Please note that a personal registration through eventspam prevention@tum.de is required.
