Event location

Target audience

Presenter
Dr. Andreas Bauer
One of the so-called "official duties" of professors is to "ensure the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act [...]". This is also how it is formulated in the letter of appointment as part of TUM's "subsidiary responsibility model". In this lecture, you will find out what specific obligations this entails (keywords "assessment of working conditions", "instruction", etc.), how you can fulfill them together with your team and how TUM can support you in doing so. You will be able to identify the requirements and support potential relevant to you.
The procedure using the AGUM information system will be presented using selected examples - including examples from your everyday work. Finally, an insight into the online tool for creating risk assessments will build a bridge to the individual occupational health and safety measures to be taken in your own organizational unit.
Learning objectives:
- You will learn about the requirements of occupational health and safety as an official task.
- You will be given ideas for implementing these requirements in your own area of responsibility.
- You will be able to assess the extent to which your team members or external experts can support you in fulfilling this task.
The presentation will take place online (via Zoom) and in English.
