You can expect a tour of the various laboratories, a live demonstration of the GARMI assistance robot, and an insight into the robot factory, where they can try working with robot arms and their grippers. Children and families are also welcome; Lego is available for the youngest to build creative robots.
The approx. 1-hour guided tours, for which you must register in advance, start at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. with the last tour. The international and interdisciplinary team of researchers and employees looks forward to talking to its guests. GARMI will also interact with its audience on this day and can answer a question or two thanks to its chat GPT functionality. It will also demonstrate the skills it needs to become a real everyday helper and care assistant.
Anyone who wants to can also find out about the status of the plans for the Garmisch-Partenkirchen campus, as the project partners LongLeif gGmbH and Cartiasverband der Erzdiözese München und Freising e.V. will also be on hand to answer questions.
