Design

If you use one of the color modes, the TUM website and its elements will be displayed in either dark or light.

The settings are stored on your computer and not transferred to the server.

More space:

40 GB of personal storage space for everyone

At the turn of the year, we will expand the personal storage space on the NAS from 20 GB to 40 GB.

The central NAS offers you the opportunity to save your files conveniently and safely. Here, “safely” means more than just access protection: internal data backups are saved several times a week. These "snapshots" allow you to access older versions of files you might have accidentally deleted or overwritten.

Similar to an external hard drive, you can access your data easily via the MWN and a network drive on your computer. The server address is \\nas.ads.mwn.de\TUM-Kennung. The TUM-ID is your seven-character code that follows the pattern "ab12cde". Outside the MWN you can access your data from all over the world by using a web browser and connecting to the webdisk or by using a VPN-connection.
