Find out more about TUM as a newly appointed member of the professorial staff! As a newly appointed professor, you face various challenges: You need to expand your network at TUM and beyond, attract the best talent to your research group and lead your team effectively.
Our introductory series for newly appointed professors is designed to support you with evidence-based tools for strategy implementation, personnel selection and academic leadership. You will have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of other professors and discover the key lessons they have learnt. In Session 1, you will reflect on your different roles as a leader in academia and the expectations that come with them.
The workshop will be online (via Zoom) and in English. The workshop is part of the workshop series “Newly Appointed Professor” (four sessions). Please note: you have to enroll for each session separately.
