What future uses can be imagined for the former combined heat and power station on the TUM Munich campus? Urban design students will present their ideas on a special action day on July 20. Along with a chance to tour the building, the program will include performances by the TUM choir and samba group.

Building of the former combined heat and power station — The former combined heat and power station in the middle of the Munich campus.

TUM President Thomas F. Hofmann and Ben Boucsein, professor of urban design, will open the event in the campus courtyard at noon. The students will then present their concepts for the power station. Tours of the building will take place between 2 and 4 p.m. With music and refreshments, all in attendance will have a chance to discuss the future of the site.
