Concert for 150 years of TUM in the Science and Study Center Raitenhaslach
Musical anniversary celebration under baroque frescoes
The TUM Choir, soprano Ute Ziemer, pianist Bronwen Murray-Berg and pianist Zsolt Medgyesi performed under the impressive ceiling fresco of the "Aula maior", which dates back to the 18th century.
TUM President Wolfgang A. Herrmann emphasized that the concert was also a sign of gratitude to the city assembly of Burghausen for the joint efforts in restoring the Raitenhaslach monastery. The unusually well-preserved late-baroque historical monument has been home to the TUM Science and Study Center Raitenhaslach for two years.
