Exhibition opening “The Gift”
Event location
TUM Architecture Museum
Target audience
publically
We invite you to the opening of the exhibition "The Gift - Generosity and Violence in Architecture" and to lectures on the background and problems of architectural gifts. Admission is free of charge.
What are the benefits of donated buildings and how can they cause harm? The unequal relationship between giver and receiver can lead to both benevolence and violence. Case studies from four continents tell stories of humanitarian, developmental, diplomatic and philanthropic donations. The TUM Architecture Museum is offering a comprehensive tour and program of activities to accompany the exhibition "The Gift".
