Speakers

Christina Langer, postdoc at the Stanford Digital Economy Lab. She shows the roles of cognitive, social and digital skills for career opportunities and salaries in Germany and their influence. All skills are important, but some are more influential than others.

Philipp Lergetporer, Professor of Economics at TUM Campus Heilbronn, is building a bridge to employees who have been on the job market for some time. Together with his team, he has studied how employees deal with the risk of automation through artificial intelligence (AI). Quick spoiler: Most people underestimate the risk. This is worrisome because these beliefs can influence the willingness to train.
