The President's office serves as the central hub of university governance, coordinating strategic issues across the university. It also oversees the central university boards and coordinates all activities of the TUM Board of Management.

Provides organizational and conceptual support to the SEVP Human Resources, Administration & Finance in managing and steering a modern, efficient university administration.
Ensures the integrity and transparency of research, teaching and innovation through the TUM Codes of Conduct, the TUM Respect Guide and the the Bylaw of Good Scientific Practice.
The human resources department manages TUM's central personnel affairs and supports employees and their supervisors in all matters relating to employment.
Responsible for the construction and building management of the various campuses to provide the best possible structural and technical infrastructure for research and teaching.
The legal department advises on a wide range of legal issues, drafts and negotiates contracts (e.g. research cooperations), and manages TUM's legal affairs.
The staff unit provides independent audit and consulting services for the university administration and audits the use of funds as well as the university's disbursing offices.
The staff unit ensures the availability, confidentiality and integrity of the IT infrastructure through policies and recommendations, and monitors compliance.
Manages the university's development in terms of planning, performance, and resource orientation using business management tools. Embodies the data-driven information center.
Central communication conveys the TUM brand strategically and across all media, on numerous digital channels as well as in international media relations.
Provides centralized advice and coordination on all issues relating to cooperation between research and industry, research funding and technology transfer.
Provides support in the areas of occupational health and safety, safety issues such as genetic engineering or the transportation of hazardous materials, and is responsible for fire and rescue services on the Garching campus.
